Painting Studio
This cedar painting studio floats above undisturbed woodland terrain; a single skylit space surrounded by decks. Rising from base plates on oversized concrete piers, red pipe columns express the exterior structure. A heavy shed roof folds to enclose a triangular screened porch. Large doors at one end of the studio open to the porch with its custom-made full-height screens. The porch is like a prow directing the studio toward the forest.
